Collection: Deba

Deba is a specialized knife for deboning fish. It’s relatively thin on the tip that meant for filleting a fish that separates the meat from the bone. The thick spine and bevel on the heel could cut both fish's backbone and rib bones. Deba is commonly a single bevel with urasuki, typically between 105mm and 180mm, but nowadays there are varieties that are called Yo Deba, where it’s a double bevel and thick, which is useful to split a fish head in half.
